OUR STORY
Six years ago, Prabu & Kaaviya traveled to a remote village in Sri Lanka, where we encountered something truly remarkable. In this community, families with multiple generations thrived, with elders well into their nineties radiating vitality, energy, and joy. Despite the absence of nearby hospitals or modern healthcare facilities, these elders were flourishing, working tirelessly each day.
Intrigued by their well-being, we set out to uncover their secret. Each time we asked, we received the same answer: their food and organic medicine. OUR PLANT HEALER
Mr. Kangayan Ravi, an enlightened and venerated plant healer, comes from the peaceful coastal village of Trincomalee along the pristine coastline of Sri Lanka. This peaceful coastal town, with its rich natural landscapes and gentle ocean breeze, was instrumental in instilling in him a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the wellness associated with it. Kangayan Ravi demonstrated an early interest in the natural world. Inspired by the abundance of herbs and plants that surrounded him in his village, he found that nature itself provided gifts to heal wounds.
It was not just personal interest that led to his exploration of herbal medicine; much of it was rooted in the traditions of his family. His own ancestors had dedicated their lives to exploring the healing properties of the local herbs, passing down their knowledge for generations. Growing up in this environment, Kangayan Ravi found inspiration in the dedication and wisdom of his family members, who spent many years working diligently to unlock the secrets of nature’s remedies. This deep connection to the world around him cemented the foundation for his life’s work.
Kangayan Ravi studied the plants he saw as a young man. He learned about the many benefits of tulsi leaves with their potent healing properties and also explored the medicinal properties of moringa and neem leaves. He spent those years learning about the complex ways in which these herbs could help the body and the mind. His thirst for knowledge and his deep respect for the bounty of nature eventually came to fruition, and he became one of the most successful plant healers in the region.
